I've been waiting all week to find out if Nick's powers will return! When we left them last, Juliette agreed to go through with the ritual, and Monrosalee found themselves the subjects of an attack.

We pick up just where we left off, and Monroe is seriously cheesed off at the attack but tells Nick the police will be of no use. Rosalee explains that the attack was courtesy of an ancient Wesen organization that believes intermarriage is a crime, telling Nick, Hank, and Juliette that it isn't the first attack. Nick and Juliette tell Monrosalee that they plan to take the necessary steps to restore Nick's powers, the sooner the better, so that Nick can help.

With the decision made, Elizabeth finishes the potion and Juliette inhales the Adalind fumes. Trubel opts to leave with the rest of the group so that Nick and Adalette can get down to business, and after the deed is done Juliette doubles over in pain, regaining her own form as Nick helps her lie down. Meanwhile, Elizabeth and Sean have a last mother-son encounter before she leaves, and they chat about the origin of the hat Adalind, and in turn Elizabeth, used for the shape-shifting rituals. She warns him to be careful and tells him she won't give up on finding her granddaughter.

We have only a little Adalind time this episode - time with the real, Adalind, anyway. We find her dining with Victor, and she tells him about Nick and his mother's involvement in her escape, as well as a conversation she had with Kelly. He in turn tells her about the baby being taken from him, and they realize Kelly likely has her now. Does this mean they'll be paying Nick a visit soon?

In this week's Wesen news, we meet a young couple driving on a nearly deserted road at night just before they hit something and run off the road, doing some serious damage on impact. As they try to free themselves they are approached by some sort of lizard people who try to strangle the couple with their tongues. They drag the man away but are unable to free the girl, so they leave her, stating they will need to find another.

Trubel, Monroe, and Rosalee come back the next morning, all of them too afraid to enter the house for fear of finding Nick and Juliette still completing the task, which is really a compliment to Nick, all things considered. Nick and Juliette assure the trio that everything is back to normal, but when Monroe tests Nick they find he's still not a Grimm. Nick leaves to meet Hank at the scene of the accident, where they question the woman and determine Wesen must have been involved. Additionally, they meet a new officer who is rather attractive and shares a glance with Hank that I have to assume means they are about to begin dating. Hooray for Hank! They discover a piece of wood with nails sticking out at all angles beneath the car, clearly the cause of the accident, and Nick recalls seeing something similar a few years back.

Back at the station, he researches the old case with Hank and tells him the survivor made references to "monsters" being involved. They discover a creepy figurine they'd found at the scene and wonder if they'll find another at the current crime scene. Metal detectors in hand, they return to the scene and dig up a lot of empty beer cans - and another creepy figurine. The new officer, who may or may not be Hank's future girlfriend, arrives to report another incident and then digs up another figure for the collection. Nick and Hank head to the trailer, where they look up information on the Phansegar - and the Wesen of the week now have a name. He learns the Phansegar choke their victims with their tongues as a form of human sacrifice, then bury them alive. Apparently this ritual must include a young couple and must be performed every three years, and on top of all that, we learn Rudyard Kipling was a Grimm. Shut the front door. I guess he had more than just Baloo and crew in his Jungle Book.

Meanwhile, at Casa Burkhardt, Trubel notices a car parked outside and when she leaves the house she confronts the man sitting inside. He claims to be waiting for someone, but Trubel's no fool and proceeds to slash his tires while he sits in dumbfounded silence. When he finally gets out of the car she takes off, and I continue to adore this girl. She is seriously awesome. Anyway, she doubles back and goes inside to watch the man argue with the others who have since arrived, and when a knock sounds at the door she opens it to find none other than Josh Porter outside. He tells her he has nowhere to go and helps her keep watch. The two of them bond over a common love for sandwiches and she tells him things have changed where Nick is concerned.

As Nick and Hank discuss the case with Sean, Wu arrives with information on the possible origin of the figurines. They go to collect Monroe, who's hesitant to leave Rosalee alone, but when Juliette shows up packing heat and Trubel follows shortly thereafter he takes off. The new officer arrives at the junkyard Wu found and instead of answers to her questions she finds herself with a neckload of lizard tongue, and the Phansegar claim her as the second victim they need for their ritual. Nick, Hank, and Monroe make it just in time to see a pretty rad oversized version of the figurine burning nearby while the Phansegar toss the officer into the pit. Nick's experiencing some wicked headaches while they try to sneak up on the proceedings, and Hank moves in alone to rescue his maybe-girlfriend. Monroe follows and winds up in the other pit with the male hostage, and that just leaves Nick - except he's barely conscious and has already been discovered by the Phansegar. But check it out - just at exactly the most dramatic moment, his powers return and he starts kicking lizard tail while Hank and Monroe shout his name from their respective holes. When it's all said and done, Nick and Hank spread the good news and Nick learns of Josh's arrival.

Things are getting festive next week, with some sort of troll-Gremlin infestation on the horizon, and it appears Nick and Juliette may be expecting! What do you think that means for Nick? Surely the child of a Grimm is very valuable, and considering Nick's part in the disappearance of Adalind's child, will Nick's be in danger from the royals? Comment below or on Twitter at @GoddessTiff and let me know, and don't forget to follow @BWWTVWorld while you're there to stay up to date on your favorite shows. In the meantime, here's a recap on what those nasty royals have been up to.
