Well at least they finally agree on something! Yesterday, both Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey announced their departures from FOX's AMERICAN IDOL. The divas' time on the singing competition was largely characterized by a long-standing feud, often resulting in some awkward live TV moments.

Mariah Carey was the first to turn to Twitter on Thursday to confirm the news, retweeting a post from her publicists which read: "W/ global success of "#Beautiful" (#1 in 30+ countries so far) @MariahCarey confirms world tour & says goodbye 2 Idol."

Minaj soon followed by tweeting her official exit, "Thank you American Idol for a life changing experience! Wouldn't trade it for the world! Time to focus on the Music!!! Mmmuuuaahhh!!!?"

The announcements came weeks after longtime "Idol" judge Randy Jackson also confirmed his exit. While much remains uncertain, including the fate of judge Keith Urban, host Ryan Seacrest thanked the two female judges for their time on the show, tweeting, "thx for the run @mariahcarey and @nickiminaj... we'll miss u," adding, "so whose mirror do i use now... and where will i get glitter from."

The confirmation comes just a week after reports emerged that IDOL execs were on The Hunt to replace all of the current judges with former contestants, including Jennifer Hudson and the show's first winner, Kelly Clarkson.

So BWW Asks, are viewers happy to say 'good riddance' to the dueling divas, or perhaps, were their antics the most exciting and enticing feature of an otherwise lackluster season?
