Two-time Golden Globe Award winner Cheadle has not only taken on challenging roles, but put his talents into producing projects he believes in as well. Most recently Cheadle starred as 'Marty Kaan' on the critically acclaimed Showtime series "House of Lies," which earned him a Golden Globe Award. Cheadle recently directed his first feature film, Miles Ahead, which he also co-wrote and produced. The film, which closed the New York Film Festival in October 2015, was released in Spring 2016.

Golden Globe Award nominee Kendrick is notably the lead of the "Pitch Perfect" franchise. She voices 'Poppy' in the DreamWorks Animation music-filled comedy "Trolls," opposite Justin Timberlake, and was recently seen in the action-thriller "The Accountant," opposite Ben Affleck. Kendrick also became a New York Times best-selling author for her collection of humorous, autobiographical essays, "Scrappy Little Nobody."

Three-time Golden Globe Award winner and 1982 Miss Golden Globe, Dern has touched many audiences and critics alike with her moving and heartfelt performances. In addition to her extensive film and television credits, Dern has been prolific in her producing career with three upcoming projects for HBO including "Tiny Beautiful Things," "Untitled Alex Gibney Project" and "Untitled Brownie Wise Project." Dern will next be seen in The Weinstein Company's biographical drama, "The Founder," in mid-December 2016. In 2017, Dern will be seen reuniting with director Jean-Marc Vallee in HBO's upcoming series "Big Little Lies."

The 74th Annual Golden Globe Awards will air LIVE coast-to-coast on NBC Sunday, January 8, 2017 from 5-8PM PT/8-11PM ET from the Beverly Hilton Hotel with host Jimmy Fallon. Previously announced, eight-time Golden Globe-winner Meryl Streep will be the recipient of the 2017 Cecil B. DeMille Award. Produced by dick clark productions in association with the HFPA, the GOLDEN GLOBE AWARDS are viewed in more than 236 countries worldwide and are one of the few awards ceremonies to include both motion picture and television achievements.

Lorenzo Soria is President of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association. Allen Shapiro, CEO of dick clark productions; Mike Mahan, President of dick clark productions; and Barry Adelman, Executive VP of Television at dick clark productions, will serve as executive producers.

The HFPA will livestream the nominations ceremony in its entirety exclusively using Facebook Live on the Globes Facebook Page and www.GoldenGlobes.com beginning at 5:15AM PT. Exclusive content from the nominations ceremony will also be shared via @GoldenGlobesInstagram Stories.

Founded in the 1940s during World War II, the HFPA was originally comprised of a handful of L.A.-based overseas journalists who sought to bridge the international community with Hollywood, and to provide distraction from the hardships of war through film. Seventy years later, members of the HFPA represent 56 countries with a combined readership of 250 million in some of the world's most respected publications. Each year, the organization holds the third most watched awards show on television, the Golden Globe Awards, which has enabled the organization to donate more than $25 million to entertainment-related charities and scholarship programs.
