As the PUPPY BOWL XIII puppies get ready to play in this year's game, Animal Planet catches up with nine past players to look at their road to the big game, how they're spending their retirement and their adventures with their forever family. PUPPY BOWL: WHERE ARE THEY NOW? premieres Friday, January 27 at 9:00 PM ET/PT.

In this one-hour special, sheepdog Ginger, the Most Valuable Pup from PUPPY BOWL X, shows she still has a fascination with socks and Cara, PUPPY BOWL XI's MVP from Florida Little Dog Rescue, gives viewers a glimpse into her quiet, charmed life with her human family. Fellow PUPPY BOWL XI player Bubba -- now Maddux -- was found in an abandoned house with his litter mates and is now a certified therapy dog in Lake George, NY with his mom, who fell in love with him when she was a volunteer at the PUPPY BOWL taping. Jake the Chug, who played in PUPPY BOWL VI, has found fame on social media and has appeared in a calendar, on a bookmark and made a guest appearance in PUPPY BOWL XII. Plus, five other dogs tell their happy "tails" from rescue dogs to television star to adoption.

PUPPY BOWL: WHERE ARE THEY NOW? is produced for Animal Planet by Time Inc. Studios. Mike Beck, Ian Orefice, Josh Oshinsky and Michael Sullivan serve as executive producers for Time Inc. Studios. For Animal Planet, Dawn Sinsel is the executive producer and Pat Dempsey serves as producer.
