Amanda Seyfried has signed on for Jake Szymanski's HE'S F-ING PERFECT, from a script by Lauryn Kahn.

Seyfried's character uses social media to research her friends' dates and criticize their choices. But when she finds the "perfect man", she uses her online skills to make herself into his match.

Fox was originally considering the movie, with its sights set on Emma Stone in 2000, but the deal fell through. Now, Universal is tackling the project.

Seyfried will next be seen on the big screen in A Million Ways to Die in the West, While We're Young, Z for Zachariah and Three Little Words. She has starred in The Big Wedding, Lovelace, Les Miserables, Gone, The End of Love, In Time, Red Riding Hood, Letters to Juliet, Dear John, Jennifer's Body, Mamma Mia!, Mean Girls and more. Her TV credits include Veronica Mars and Big Love.
