Adam Goldberg Joins Jim Gaffigan's Comedy Pilot for CBS

Deadline writes that Adam Goldberg has signed on to star opposite Jim Gaffigan in Gaffigan's comedy pilot for CBS.

Gaffigan stars in the pilot, which follows a man living in Gotham with his wife and five children. Goldberg will play 'Dave Reedy', Gaffigan's best friend and fellow stand-up comedian who lives next door.

Gaffigan and Peter Tolan have written the script and are producing with Michael Wimer and Alex Murray.

Goldberg's upcoming projects include the TV movie Divorce: A Love Story and the film No Way Jose. His past TV credits include the series NYC 22, The Unusuals, White Collar, Entourage and more, as well as the TV movie Anna Nicole. On the big screen, Goldberg has appeared in Lost Angeles, A Monster in Paris, Norman, Miss Nobody, Numb3rs, Zoidiac, Deja Vu, Man About Town, A Beautiful Mind, and more.

Gaffigan's upcoming projects include the TV movie Gaffigan and Walter. He has appeared on the big screen in Killmanjaro, Love Sick Love, Salvation Boulevard, It's Kind of A Funny Story, Going the Distance, Ten Stories Tall, Away We Go, 17 Again, The Love Guru, 13 Going on 30 and more. Gaffigan's TV appearances include Portlandia, WordGirl, My Boys, Flight of the Conchords, Pale Force, That '70s Show, Ed, The Ellen Show, Welcome to New York and more. Gaffigan appeared on Broadway in 2011's The Championship Season.
