According to The Hollywood Reporter, Broadway alum Sadie Sink and actor Dacre Montgomery have signed on as series regulars for Season Two of the popular Netflix series STRANGER THINGS. In addition, it was announced that actor Joe Kerry (Steve Harrington) and Noah Schnapp (Will Byers) have been upped to series regulars on the show.

Sink, who made her Broadway debut in the 2012 revival of ANNIE and went on to portray young Queen Elizabeth in Broadway's THE AUDIENCE, will take on the role of Max, described as "a tough and confident girl whose appearance, behavior and pursuits seem more typical of boys than of girls in this era. She has a complicated history and is generally suspicious of those around her."

Montgomery will portray Billy, "Max's hyper-confident and edgy older step-brother. He steals girlfriends away from their boyfriends, is great at drinking games and drives a black Camaro. But lurking under his apparent charisma is a violent and unpredictable nature."

Commented STRANGER THINGS executive producer Shawn Levy, "There's definitely a handful of really compelling new characters this season, but absolutely servicing the core group first and foremost. Like the show itself, it's multigenerational new characters and really, really intriguing ones."

On TV, Sadie Sink has been seen as a regular on NBC's AMERICAN ODYSSEY and has made guest appearances on Netflix's UNBREAKABLE KIMMY SCHMIDT and FX's The Americans. She will next be seen in features The Glass Castle and The Bleeder.
