Movie audiences will have to put away their cell phones when entering an AMC Theatre in the future. The theater chain announced on their official Facebook page a strict 'No Texting' policy for all of their facilities.

The announcement reads: "We'll continue to be as creative as we can to elevate the AMC experience, doing so in partnership with you, our guests, and never in a way that will compromise your love of coming out to the movies."

AMC also revealed that they will increase the number of their large screens, provide more comfortable reclining seating, offer new refreshment choices and give consumers a more functional smartphone app.
