A&E and Lifetime Apps Available Today on XBOX 360

A+E Networks® announced the additions of the A&E® and Lifetime® network apps available on the Xbox 360® game and entertainment system from Microsoft starting today for Xbox Live Gold members in the U.S. On the heels of HISTORY'S® recent network app launch on Xbox 360, this latest installation of TV Everywhere Apps continues to secure the networks position as a leader in the digital landscape and pioneer of watch app offerings. The apps enable users to watch full episodes, full movies and exclusive clips of their favorite A&E and Lifetime programming. Users who sign in via their TV or satellite provider will have access to even more content, including full previous seasons of some of their favorite series. Exclusive for A&E apps on Xbox 360, users can use Kinect to navigate the apps with their voice and gestures.

Recently A+E Networks launched TV Everywhere apps on the iOS®, Android™, Kindle Fire HD and Xbox 360 platforms. With more than eight million downloads of the watch apps to date, and more than 50 percent of all broadband video viewing occurring on the apps, the network has garnered more than double the visits per unique visitor compared to the companion online sites, with a 30 percent higher video engagement rate - all which helped drive A+E Networks up almost 50 percent in year-over-year growth.
