ABC's GREAT CHRISTMAS LIGHT FIGHT Up by Double Digits in Total Viewers

THE GREAT CHRISTMAS LIGHT FIGHT (8-10pm - 5.8 million and 1.3/4 in AD18-49): For the 3rd week in a row, ABC's THE GREAT CHRISTMAS LIGHT FIGHT built over its year-ago telecast (on 12/23/14) by double digits in Total Viewers (+16% - 5.8 million vs. 5.0 million), while holding steady in Adults 18-49 (1.3/4). In addition, it was up week to week in viewers (+9%) to deliver the program's 2nd-largest audience ever, behind only this year's opener (on 12/8/14).

On average during its 2014 run, THE GREAT CHRISTMAS LIGHT FIGHT was up from its first season run in 2013 by 28% in Total Viewers (6.0 million vs. 4.7 million) and by 25% in Adults 18-49 (1.5/4 vs. 1.2/4).

The battle for lights is on! "The Great Christmas Light Fight" returned for a second installment this holiday season. "The Great Christmas Light Fight" first debuted on ABC in December 2013 and featured 20 families competing to have the greatest Christmas display. The families were chosen through an extensive nationwide search, based on their previous elaborate Christmas light displays, incredible choreography and over-the-top designs.

"The Great Christmas Light Fight" comes from FremantleMedia NORTH AMERICA ("American Idol," "America's Got Talent"). Executive producers for the series are Brady Connell, Max Swedlow, Thom Beers and Jennifer Mullin.
