"Fresh Off the Boat" (8:00-8:30 p.m. - 4.2 million and 1.1/4 in AD18-49): At 8:00 p.m., ABC's "Fresh Off the Boat" defeated Fox's "New Girl" by 1.9 million Total Viewers (4.2 million vs. 2.3 million) and by 10% in Adults 18-49 (1.1/4 vs. 1.0/4) to rank as the No. 1 Tuesday comedy for the 2nd week in row. NBC debuted the comedy "Crowded" out of a 2-hour "The Voice" in the 10:00 p.m. hour, which moves to its regular time slot on Sunday.

"The Real O'Neals" (8:30-9:00 p.m. - 3.6 million and 1.0/4 in AD18-49):
Holding 91% of its week-earlier premiere with young adults, against the backdrop of Daylight Saving Time and an original of CBS' "NCIS," ABC's "The Real O'Neals" once again delivered the Net's best-ever retention in the 8:30 p.m. half-hour out of "Fresh Off the Boat" in Total Viewers (86%) and Adults 18-49 (91%). "The Real O'Neals" was the No. 2 Tuesday comedy in Total Viewers and Adults 18-49 (tied w/"New Girl").

"Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." (9:00-10:00 p.m. - 2.9 million and 1.0/3 in AD18-49):
Opposite the second hour of NBC's "The Voice" and original drama competition on CBS ("NCIS: NO") at 9:00 p.m., ABC's "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." held steady with its mid-season return last week in Adults 18-49 (1.0/3 vs. 1.1/4). L+3 Playback for Last Week: Last week's mid-season return of "S.H.I.E.L.D." jumped +64% over its L+SD Adult 18-49 rating (from a 1.1 to a 1.8 in L+3) to match its 2nd-largest L+3 lift this season.

Projections Rationale:
Lifts vs. L+SD are based on the 2015-16 season for premiere telecast or an average for originals (excluding the premiere).
Returning shows: Profile based on same show (either premiere or averages for originals).
New Series: Based on similar series.

A note about DVR penetration: DVR penetration in the Nielsen sample is currently at 48% in U.S. TV Homes. More viewers are watching shows on their own timetables, which are increasingly not reflected in the overnight Live + Same Day numbers. As a result, the Live + 7 Day ratings are the most accurate measure to gauge the size of the TV audience
