ABC News Radio and ABC NewsOne, the affiliate news service of ABC News, are providing continuing coverage to their stations and clients with reporting from Amanpour, Marquardt and Gutman.

Christiane Amanpour's career in journalism has become synonymous with unmatched international reporting that delivers a global perspective for viewers. Amanpour has reported from the world's major hotspots including Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, Pakistan, Somalia, Israel, the Palestinian territories, Asia, Rwanda, the Balkans, and the U.S. during Hurricane Katrina. She has interviewed most of the top world leaders over the past two decades, including securing the only interview with Hosni Mubarak and an exclusive with Muammar Ghadafi in February 2011.

Alexander Marquardt has been on the front lines of the historic Arab Spring -- crisscrossing the region reporting from Cairo, as the Egyptian revolution started, to Benghazi and Damascus during the uprisings in Libya and Syria. He has interviewed Syrian refugees and defected soldiers in Turkey, released Hamas prisoners in the West Bank and rioting austerity protesters in Greece.

Matt Gutman, previously a Jerusalem-based correspondent for ABC News Radio, covered the war between Israel and Lebanon reporting from both sides of the shell-pocked border. Before joining ABC News, Gutman covered the region as a reporter for publications, including the Jerusalem Post and USA Today. In 2002, during the peak of the Intifada, the Palestinian uprising, he embedded himself with Palestinians and settlers in the West Bank.

Lama Hasan, prior to her current assignment, spent several years reporting from the region in Cairo, where she covered major stories including the Gaza conflict in January 2009 from the Egyptian side of the border. In 2011, she covered both the Egyptian and Libyan revolutions extensively, reporting on surface-to-air missile depots left behind for rebels to loot after Gadhafi's army left.
