During last night's first "Battle Round" of Telemundo's hit musical competition "La Voz Kids" brought 18 kids face-to-face competing for the opportunity to be one of six voices selected to continue to the final phase. Guest mentors and music stars Yandel, Diana Reyes and Kany García joined celebrity Coaches Prince Royce, Roberto Tapia and Natalia Jimenez to help prepare the first group of participants for the confrontation of their lives.

During the feared battle, each Coach had three members of his own team compete against each other by performing the same song together. After each encounter, the Coaches had to make the difficult decision of choosing which of the three kids would advance to the finals of the competition. After an intense and emotional night, where all the kids shined on stage, these were the teams and its winners:

After the three "Battle Rounds," a total of 18 kids will face each other off in a spectacular individual competition. During this phase, Coaches and viewers will vote to keep the best kids in the competition leading to the grand finale.

After their presentation during the Billboard Latin Music Awards, Il Volo, the Italian operatic pop trio, consisting of tenors Piero Barone and Ignazio Boschetto, and baritone Gianluca Ginoble, came to "Suelta La Sopa Extra" (10pm/9c) to talk about the beginning of their career when they met during a music competition.
