The worlds of music and cutting-edge technology collide as the Los Angeles-based indie-rock group Love In The Circus unveil their debut video for the song "Inside." Check it out below!

The quintet, whose music is an eclectic fusion of psychedelic, jazz-inflected pop and electronic, have partnered with Sony Electronics Inc. to use the world's first 35MM full-frame interchangeable lens camcorder, the NEX-VG900 Handycam camcorder. The camera was launched last fall and was on feature display for the first time at CES in Las Vegas last week.

To design the physical stage, the group worked with Stefano Novelli, whose innovative stage creation and map projection for Amon Tobin and Skrillex have drawn rave reviews across the globe. Stefano notes "This is the first time this technology has been used in a live band element. It's been too long of just LED screens behind DJ's on a podium. Now they are pushing the envelope and it will be interesting to see more bands experiment with this in a festival setting."

Once the physical was ready, it was time to integrate the 3D projection on which the music video is based. The director of the 3D mapped projection and co-producer of the music video AJ Freysteinson of Pearl Media explains, "3D Projection mapping is the process of taking pixels and wrapping them around three-dimensional objects. We do this by creating a digital copy of the set in a computer, rendering the animation, flatting it out digitally and then re-wrapping it around three dimensional objects. This process creates a stunning, visually- compelling tableaux for the viewer."
