H.E.R. Music was founded in 1999. H.E.R. is an acronmyn for "Heal Earth Rite". HER Music is a record label and production company that utilizes music as a media tool to help spread awareness of charitable causes that desperately need our attention today, with a focus on helping curb hunger, homelessness, and poverty. HER Music has been producing small benefit gathering in both LA and the Bay under the "Beats for Peace" Project, to reach local communities with it's message. The motto is "Music with a Message". Hundreds of Dj's and Live Performers have participated in these local gatherings, and the intention of the project is to align artists and musicians together, to get behind the cause. HER Music has worked with nearly 100 charity organizations including World Hunger Year, Rainforest Action Network, Greenpeace, and the Union Rescue Mission, to name a few.
