Bristolian DJ and producer Will Clarke has been causing a stir with his upfront house productions influenced by the bass forward sound of his hometown. With previous releases on the likes of Dirtybird and Turbo, here he debuts on Defected with 'Spandex' which features the vocals of Rhea.

'Spandex' doesn't take itself too seriously, and in this irreverence lies its strength: its melodic bassline; decisive 808 claps and Rhea's spoken-vocal-chant combine to make it one of the year's catchiest records. Eschew formula and convention, 'Spandex' has an unprecedented sound and idiosyncratic rhythm that is bound to turn heads, increase stamina on dancefloors, and propel itself to the forefront of the house music scene in 2015.

About Will Clarke

Like many artists Will Clarke's sonic palette comes his experiences and influences from home and afar. The roots of his sound stem from both his home town of Bristol, and his seasonal home in Ibiza, which have forged Will's style; a style that fuses the best of Bristol's bass elements with the upfront house music sensibilities of the white isle.

With an ongoing Dirtybird tour of Australia and a host of other gigs at home and abroad, Will's unique production style and ability behind the decks continue to gain support from fans and industry insiders alike.
