The incredible Wanda Sykes brings her Emmy award winning brand of humor to the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall for the first time on November 16 at 7pm. Making her presence known in just about every form of media possible, Wanda has amassed a body of work that has solidified her as an A-Lister of comedy. Recently rejoining "Curb Your Enthusiasm," Wanda contributed as a writer and performer for 5 years on HBO's critically acclaimed "Chris Rock Show," garnering her multiple Emmy nominations and a win for "Outstanding Writing for a Variety, Music or Comedy Special." She also has racked up three more Emmy wins for her work on "Inside the NFL."

Not resting on her laurels, Wanda began her work in film, co-starring in "Evan Almighty," "Monster-In-Law" and "My Super Ex-Girlfriend." She also lent her voice to the animated hits "Ice Age: Continental Drift," "Over the Hedge" and "The Barnyard." All the while, Wanda continued to put out multiple standup comedy specials with Comedy Central and HBO.
