Portugal. The Man is an American rock band based in Portland, Oregon. The group consists of John Gourley, Zach Carothers, Kyle O'Quin, Noah Gersh, andKane Ritchotte. Gourley and Carothers met and began playing music together in high school in Wasilla, Alaska. Since the formation of Portugal. The Man in 2005, the band has released six studio albums and three EPs. Their first two albums were released on Fearless Records. They also released material on their own imprint Approaching AIRballoons through indie label Equal Vision Records. On April 2, 2010, the band signed to Atlantic Records. Evil Friends marks their seventh full length studio album and the first collaboration between Portugal. The Man and producer Danger Mouse. It was released on June 4, 2013.

This year's Bonnaroo Festival was held in Manchester, Tennessee's Great Stage Park from Thursday, June 13 through Sunday, June 16th.

The Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival is an annual, four-day music festival, created and produced by Superfly Productions and AC Entertainment, first held in 2002.

The main attractions of the festival are the multiple stages of live music, featuring a diverse array of musical styles including indie rock, world music, hip hop, jazz, americana, bluegrass, country music, folk, gospel, reggae, electronica, and other alternative music
