New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) presents an evening with UB40 and The English Beat. This is UB40's first North American tour in eight years! The Grammy-nominated, UK reggae/pop ensemble embarks on a highly anticipated tour packed with hits like "Red, Red Wine," "(I Can't Help) Falling in Love" and "Kingston Town." UB40 - featuring singer-songwriter Ali Campbell, multi-instrumentalist and vocalist Astro, and keyboardist Mickey Virtue - topped the UK singles charts on three occasions and sold 70 million records on the way to introducing their smooth yet rootsy musical blend to all corners of the globe. The trio, along with a seven-piece band, perform freshly minted songs from the album Silhouette along with classic singles, including "The Way You Do the Things You Do" and "Higher Ground." Fans also can expect to hear UB40's cover versions of songs by musical greats, such as Bob Dylan, The Beatles and The Chi-Lites.
