The Vegabonds, Nashville's Alternative Southern Rock BandTeam With Glide Magazine To Premiere Lyric Video

THE VEGABONDS--the Nashville-based alternative southern rock band--are gearing up to release V, their upcoming full-length album on January 18 via withBlue Élan Records. Today (12/7) they've partnered with GlideMagazine.com to unveil a lyric video for their new single, "Everything I Need." Click here to watch the animated, outlaw-themed video.

"'Everything I Need' was written after a cross country tour from Nashville to California and back in late 2016," says Daniel Allen of THE VEGABONDS. "It was a music and comedy tour, so we were on the road with comedians the whole time, and every night was completely unique and different. Our stops in Las Vegas and L.A. were the main inspirations for this song. It's based on all the characters we met on tour in those towns, and the experiences we went through as a band and individuals. 'Everything I Need' is fast and full speed from the start which is the same way that whole tour was."

V--which signifies the band's fifth album release--highlights the best of THE VEGABONDS' musicianship, vocals, lyrics and collective sound, illustrating their contagious blend of Americana, country, and rock influences. The album, a spirited blend of "classic and modern rock with Southern storytelling," was produced by Tom Tapley, who did the same honors for the band's critically acclaimed album What We're Made Of and the "Long Haired Country Boy" single, in addition to producing albums for such diverse artists as Blackberry Smoke, Sugarland, Tyler Farr and Mastodon.

Watch an animated lyric video for V's lead single, "Partyin' With Strangers"(here), which makes its mark with ringing guitars, a soaring melody and candid lyrics about a busted up romance.

THE VEGABONDS' tireless work ethic and unbridled talents have not gone unnoticed; the group has opened for such notable acts as Lynyrd Skynyrd and the late Gregg Allman, among others. Rousing performances at festivals like Peach Festival, Sweetwater 420, and Taste of Randolph, grew their notoriety nationwide. The band got their start in 2009 by playing the college circuit across the Southeastern United States. Fronted by lead vocalist and songwriter Daniel Allen--with Richard Forehand (lead guitar/vocals), Paul Bruens (bass), Beau Cooper (keys/vocals), and Bryan Harris (drums) rounding out the quintet-their popularity quickly burgeoned to the point that they found their fans singing along word-for-word to their first hits like "Georgia Fire" and "Shaky Hands." Through pure word of mouth, the group's fan base grew rapidly, and the guys learned they had something distinctive with their eclectic mix of roots music and earnest songwriting.

The band will continue to log miles touring the U.S through 2018 as they kick of their "Winter Holiday" tour with Kendall Street Company on December 14 inRaleigh, NC and into 2019 on the "Southbound & Down" tour. Additional 2019 tour dates to be announced soon. *see all tour dates below*
