THE RAT PACK is Back at Reagle Music Theatre, 11/11
The Rat Pack, starring sensational Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and Sammy Davis Jr. impersonators Gary Anthony, Andy DiMino and Lambus Dean, returns to Reagle Music Theatre of Greater Boston for one show only on Sunday, November 11 at 2 p.m. in the Robinson Theatre, 617 Lexington Street, Waltham.
This remarkable tribute show, featuring the classic hits “Come Fly with Me,” “That’s Amore,” “Mr. Bojangles,” “My Way,” “Everybody Loves Somebody,” “The Candy Man,” and so many more, sold out the last time these musical mad men were in town. Now they are back by popular demand, straight from Las Vegas, singing all the famous trio’s tunes that made the ’60s so swinging.
For this exclusive engagement, The Rat Pack is backed by a hot seven-piece band of regional musicians who specialize in the jazz and big band sound of the decade.
“Our Frank, Dean and Sammy are no ordinary celebrity impersonators,” says Robert Eagle, producing artistic director of Reagle Music Theatre. “They practically channel their alter egos, bringing their sound, style, and devil-may-care humor to life for a new generation of audiences. At times Gary, Andy and Lambus look and act so much like their counterparts you’d swear you were back at the Sands Hotel in Vegas during the Rat Pack’s heyday. They put on a fabulous show, and they leave our audiences begging for more.”
Gary Anthony (Frank Sinatra) has been one of Vegas' most in demand Sinatra impersonators since moving to the Entertainment Capital of the World in 1994. A native of Los Angeles, Anthony grew up in a musical family headed by his father, a big band director. Music came naturally to the third of 11 children, and although the performer also sings as himself, even as a child Anthony knew that "Frank was the man."
