Steely Dan will once again offer its devoted New York fanbase an opportunity to attend a series of special shows when Walter Becker and Donald Fagen take to The Beacon Theatre stage for a 10-night residency starting October 12. Included among the highpoints of these extraordinary concerts are: four nights with special guest Rickie Lee Jones, the first time that Steely Dan will perform 1973's Countdown to Ecstasy in its entirety, and much more.

Steely Dan staged complete performances of several of their classic albums from start to finish at The Beacon in '08, '09, '11, '13 and '15, and will do so again this year - each along with a set of hits. Also included in this upcoming residency are performances of 1976's The Royal Scam, 1977's Aja, and 1980's Gaucho, plus "Greatest Hits" and "By Popular Demand" nights. Each and every night, Steely Dan will entrance audiences with a set of diverse selections from The Dan's extraordinary catalog, rich with infectious tunes, bodacious harmonies, irresistible grooves, blazing solo work, rich ensembles and sleek, subversive lyrics.

Happily, Donald and Walter are joined once again by the brilliant and acclaimed musicians who have famously supported them in recent years, including: Jon Herington (guitar), Keith Carlock (drums), Freddie Washington (bass), Jim Beard (keyboards), a four-piece horn section and three backup vocalists. Journalists have noted that one has to go back to the legendary big bands of a previous era to find a touring ensemble with the virtuosity, versatility, and vise-like cohesion of the Steely Dan touring ensemble.
