Singer Rachael Sage Confirms Summer Festival Appearances in US & UK

Singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Rachael Sage kicks off Summer 2014 with a new EP and appearances at a number of festivals, both stateside and overseas. Sage will be celebrating her latest EP "New Destination", which showcases her confident and sophisticated songwriting, merging classical, folk, pop and rock influences. Featuring members of Daft Punk, Patti Smith and Bruce Springsteen's bands, the eclectic 4-song recording redefines Sage's string-heavy alt-pop within a more adventurous, contemporary setting. The prolific pianist/producer will support "New Destination" with an extensive tour, accompanied by longtime violinist, Kelly Halloran (G Love, Michael Franti).

Summer Festival season starts off with two slots at Seattle PrideFest this Sunday, June 29 and ends with the Hudson Music Festival in Hudson, NY on August 10. At Seattle PrideFest on Sun. June 29, Sage will perform on the Main Stage (2:15pm) right before Star Trek's George Takei and on the Mural Stage at 4:45pm. Then on the other side of the pond, she returns to Oxfordshire, UK for the Cornbury Music Festival July 4-6. She will be performing on the Caffe Nero Stage among the fantastic festival lineup which includes Lissie, Suzanne Vega, Jools Holland and Simple Minds. Back in the U.S. on July 12 for the 18th annual Black Potatoe Festival in Clinton, NJ, Sage will perform on the Quarry Stage at 6:30pm. This 5-day festival also boasts performances by Sarah Borges, Ellis Paul & more. On July 17, she headlines at the Ladybug Festival in Wilmington, DE, a free outdoor festival at Market St. between 2nd & 3rd Avenues.

August 7 Sage returns to Boulder, CO for the FMQB Triple A Conference, a private industry event at which she will make her performance debut: the conference will also feature Train, Ray LaMontagne, Ryan Adams, and Lucius. Then, August 10 she returns to New York for the Hudson Music Festival in Hudson, NY, the State's largest free 3-day music festival.
