Segerstrom Center for the Arts is excited to announce another FREE event on the Plaza. This time it's to celebrate the Center's three-decade anniversary, and L.A.'s very own Boogaloo Assassins will be on-site and ready to take the party to the next funky level.

• 6 - 9:30 p.m. - The evening festivities kick off with the return of food trucks, games on the plaza and a chance to enter a raffle to win a brand new 2017 Kia Sedona SXL. Food trucks on-site include: Taqueria de Anda, Dos Chinos, Kala Truck and Frankie's Frozen Treats.

• 6 - 7:30 p.m. - DJ Ceazs Hernandez keeps the party going with great dance music.

• 8 - 9:30 p.m. - The Boogaloo Assassins take to the stage and fill the Plaza with traditional Latin son/son-montuno/guaguanco/cha-cha-cha/Latin boogaloo/Latin soul, blues and descargas for all to enjoy and dance the night away.

Formed in Los Angeles from the ashes of the rock-steady machine Ocean 11, Latin-funk pioneers Five Degrees of Soul, ska stalwarts See Spot, Chris Murray Combo and roots reggae monsters the Expanders, the Boogaloo Assassins are here to get down Spanish-Harlem style with a sound that is heavily indebted to the classic sounds of New York's late '60s/early '70s Latin music explosion.

Segerstrom Center for the Arts applauds Kia, Official Automotive Partner of the Center, and United Airlines, Official Airline of the Center.
