Scottish rock trio Biffy Clyro are proud to release a brand new video for the track "Flammable" from their current album Ellipsis. The video follows the announcement of three of the biggest U.K. award nominations of their career: Best British Group at the BRITAwards, Best British Group and Best Festival Headliners at the NMEAwards.Click here to view and share "Flammable".

The performance-based video which features the band tearing through the track while encased in a glass box suspended from the ceiling of an abandoned warehouse as a ferocious quantity of fireworks explodes around them in dangerously close proximity. This 2D version of the video will soon by followed by a unique 3D virtual reality experience.

The release of "Flammable" continues at the height of the band's storied career as their seventh studio Ellipsis rocketed to #1 in the UK, Germany, Ireland and Switzerland upon its release last year. Since then, Ellipsis has hit Gold status in the U.K. with the help of four A-listed tracks at Radio 1 with 'Wolves of Winter', 'Animal Style', 'Howl' and 'Re-arrange' - the latter of which achieved the rare distinction of being simultaneously playlisted at both Radio 1 and Radio 2.
Ellipsis was produced by RichCostey who was chosen on the strength of his work with Muse, My Chemical Romance, Sigur Ros, Fiona Apple, etc.Ellipsisfinds Biffy Clyro streamlining their sound into a rush of melody and strident, stadium-conquering hooks in which its uplifting atmosphere contrasts with the darker themes of vocalist/guitarist Simon Neil's lyrics.
Biffy Clyro followed Ellipsis with a remarkable run of huge scale, non-stop U.K. and European touring which set their riotous energy to a dazzling visual spectacle. They performed to almost 200,000 people over the course of a weekend when they played their biggest Scottish show to date at Glasgow's Bellahouston Park in-between headline sets at the Reading and Leeds Festivals, and then ended the year with a triumphant UK and Ireland arena tour. Kerrang's review of their London show at The O2 described them as: "The band that pirouettes on the lines that divides alternative music from its mainstream equivalent better than anyone else."
