On September 16, native New Yorker Julian Velard will release "No One's Getting Married Tonight," the next single off his New York City concept album aptly titled If You Don't Like It, You Can Leave. Check out the just-released music video!
Shot by SERINO/COYNE's Jim Glaub surreptitiously at Velard's wedding in August (without any of the guest's knowledge including the Bride!), the music video for the single features a who's who of Music and Broadway Talent drunkenly lip synching the song. Cameos include Jonah Smith (Semi-Finalist on America's Got Talent Season 9), Ophira Eisenberg (Host of NPR'S Ask Me Another), Singer-songwriters Ari Hest & Ryan Montbleau, Lead singer of The Damnwells and multi platinum songwriter Alex Dezen, Alison Siedner (Cellist for Broadway's Kinky Boots and Addams Family),Tara Siesener (Tracy in Las Vegas/Royal Caribbean production of Hairspray), Vocalist Chrissi Poland (from Scissors Sisters and Spiegelworld in Las Vegas) and many more. Bride Rachel Kopf is also a Broadway alumni, having toured 3 years as Ellen in the North American Tour of Miss Saigon. No One's Getting Married tonight is Velard's ode to the uncertainty of life in New York as an artistic thirty-something. His NYC concept album released this past June is Velard's most sincere release to date, telling stories of excitement and heartbreak across the five boroughs; mimicking the familiar feeling of bonding with a stranger over your love/hate relationship with the city.Videos
