SHAED is an electro-pop trio comprised of multi-instrumentalist twin brothers Max and Spencer Ernst and powerhouse vocalist Chelsea Lee. Today, on the same day as they embark on their first ever national tour supporting Marian Hill and VERITE, they release their six-track debut Just Wanna See EP via Photo Finish Records.
Earlier this week, the group displayed their genre-bending muscles with "Name On It", which has funk and R&B influences that caught the ear of tastemaker Zane Lowe who premiered the new track it on his Beats 1 radio show. The trio released 3 individual singles from the new EP earlier this summer beginning with the EP title track "Just Wanna See", a hypnotic slow jam that has received international praise and favorable comparisons to bands like Florence & The Machine, Sia, Justin Timberlake, and Sylvan Esso. The anthemic single "Thunder" came next, in which Lee's vocals weave divinely through the Ernst twin's pop-sensible production. All Things Go declared,"This empowering banger is electro pop gold." A track that begs you out of your chair onto the dance floor, "Running Through The Fields", the third released track from the EP is a "young and restless summer anthem, equal parts timeless and contemporary," acclaims Neon Gold.SHAED - Just Wanna See EP - Photo Finish Records
