Rudy Currence Releases New Music 'Testimony' Today

Just in time for the summer, Rudy Currence is back with his latest offering,"Testimony" . The hot new track is the 2nd single from Currence's forthcoming album "Stained Glass Windows" and Mixtape "Seven Seven Seventeen". Produced by Rudy's younger brother, Mykal Star AKA @MykalStarOnThaBeat , #Testimony pairs an infectious hip hop drum loop with a classic choir sample from the Hawkins Family "Love Alive II" album.

By merging the best of both traditional and contemporary, the record showcases Rudy's versatile style and eclectic taste. "Testimony" is the follow up track to the initial release "Send Me I'll Go" currently playing on Revolt TV, BET Gospel, Music Choice, and more. Like #SendMe, "Testimony" has a very relatable message seeing as 'Everybody has one'. Known to his fans as an "Experience", Rudy Currence is a Grammy and Dove Award winning producer, singer-songwriter. He has appeared on ABC's "The View" and performed on BET's "106 and Park". Rudy is currently endorsed by Kawai Piano, the second largest piano distributer in the world! He's written and produced songs for R&B/Pop singers Mya and Ray J, blockbuster movie "The Bourne Identity" starring Matt Damon, Hip Hop Producer David Banner, and Multi-Platinum Grammy and Emmy Award winning producer, Quincy Jones. In 2013, Rudy won a Grammy and Dove Award for his production on Lecrae's album entitled "Gravity". In 2015, Rudy was again Grammy nominated for writing "Sunday AM" (Pronounced Sunday Morning) for four-time Grammy Award winner and national recording artist, Karen Clark Sheard. Rudy continues to tour nationally and abroad while promoting the new singles "Send Me I'll Go" and "Testimony" from his latest projects "Seven Seven Seventeen" and forthcoming album "Stained Glass Windows".
