Recording Artist Kimberley Locke & Broadway Sings For Pride Will Sing At Pride Night At Citi Field With The NY Mets On Saturday, August 4, 2018, cast members from Broadway and Billboard recording artist Kimberley Locke (American Idol) will sing on behalf of award-winning non-profit Broadway Sings for Pride at the third annual Pride Night at Citi Field.

The New York Mets will host its third annual Pride Night at Citi Field on Saturday, August 4th as the team takes on the Atlanta Braves. The award-winning non-profit Broadway Sings for Pride will help kick off the festivities during the pre-game programming on Mets Plaza starting at 5:45p, Tessa Alves (Broadway's Rock of Ages, Escape to Margaritaville), Rebecca Larkin (Broadway's South Pacific & Avenue Q) and Michael Muenchow (Former Lead Vocalist at Cirque Dreams, Holland America Line) will perform. At 6:50p, American Idol and Billboard recording artist Kimberly Locke will sing the National Anthem during the on-field pregame Pride ceremony. Performers will be singing on behalf of Broadway Sings for Pride and equality!

In the last 2 years, more than 6,000 LGBT people, allies, and their friends and families filled Citi Field for this historic night which supports the LGBT Network's anti-bullying programs in Long Island and NYC schools. Broadway Sings For Pride is a non-for-profit charitable organization which brings together Broadway talent, activists and celebrities to promote LGBT equality through song, public education and raising awareness of the needs of LGBTQ youth. Founded in 2011 in response to the tragic suicides within the LGBT community, Broadway Sings for Pride has raised thousands for the Hetrick-Martin Institute and The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center of New York City. The annual concert series features some of the brightest stars in entertainment.
