Rapper Pitbull to Team with Weinstein Co. on Two Reality Shows

Variety reports that rapper Pitbull will develop two new reality shows with the Weinstein Company, including a behin-the-scenes look at his life on tour.

The first, titled PITBULL: THE LYFE, will give fans a close look at Pitbull's life on the road as well as his time in the recording studio workking on his music. The second, to be called THE RAL CHANGE PROJECT is described as
"a showcase for pop stars and other celebs to share stories of how they made it big and the mentors who inspired them."

Commented TWC co-chairman Harvey Weinstein, "Partnering with Pitbull, one of the biggest names in music today, on 'The Real Change Project' and 'The Lyfe' is a phenomenal opportunity that we're all very excited to get started on."

Pitbull explains that the new projects are, "two series with the point of view that life is what we make it - some follow the rules; others bend them."

Pitbull, whose real name is Armando Christian Perez, recently served as a guest judge on ABC's Dancing With the Stars as part of his focus on raising his profile as a TV personality. He is set to host Fox's New Year's Eve live broadcast.
