Peter Frampton Comes to The Van Wezel Tonight

Recent inductee to the Musician's Hall of Fame, Peter Frampton, is about to head back out on the road after the release of his fifteenth studio album Hummingbird in a Box. He will perform at the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall tonight, October 1, 2014 at 8pm. Tickets go on sale this Friday, June 27, 2014 at 10am.

The seminal rock and roll guitarist has garnered multiple Grammy Awards and continues to tour extensively to this day. His latest work Hummingbird in a Box is an entirely instrumental album written for dance, specifically the Cincinnati Ballet. Frampton notes, "writing for dance was a wonderfully freeing experience. There were no boundaries. We were able to push the composing envelope." The album was composed with Gordon Kennedy and is the second collaboration between the two; the first of which won a Grammy Award for Best Pop Instrumental Album.
