The organizers of the third annual ASPCA Rock n' Roll LA Benefit have certainly succeeded in attracting star power to their event. They recently announced that in addition to an already star-studded lineup of guests, Nick Mara, who rose to fame while on MTV and NBC, is now slated to co-host the benefit. Nadji Jeter, of Grown Ups 2, will also co-host.

At just fifteen years old, Mara has already achieved a great deal in the entertainment industry. He has performed on NBC's Saturday Night Live, performed alongside Mariah Carey on NBC's Christmas at Rockefeller Center, appeared on EXTRA TV with host Mario Lopez, was named runner-up on MTV's America's Best Dance Crew, and was featured in Hasbro's 2013 Bop-It Commercial.

Despite his wealth of experience, it was difficult for Mara to hide his enthusiasm for the opportunity to host, saying, "It's exciting! I am looking forward to co-hosting with Nadji Jeter. I think it is going to be a lot of fun, and there will be so many great performances, it's a can't-miss show!"

The ASPCA is sponsoring the event for the third consecutive year, with the goal of spreading the message of their mission, which is‚ "to provide effective means for the prevention of cruelty to animals throughout the United States." Co-host Mara is also a supporter of the ASPCA and its mission. My family and I have been supporting the cause for as long as I can remember. I feel truly honored to be able to host an event that will not only be fun and exciting for everyone involved, but also supports such an important cause. It is going to be a great night."

The benefit is scheduled for Saturday, October 5, in Manhattan Beach, California. The orange carpet event begins at 2 pm and will conclude at 7 pm. The cost for tickets ranges from $20 to $40, depending on the package that attendees select.
