MotorCity Casino Hotel to Welcome Oakland University Jazz Band in 2016

MotorCity Casino Hotel is proud to welcome the Oakland University Jazz Band with a special performance by the Detroit Symphony Civic Orchestra, to Sound Board on Sunday, January 10, 2016 at 6:00 p.m.

The Oakland University Jazz Program provides many opportunities for students. The Jazz Ensemble, Jazz Combos, and the Contemporary Music Ensemble perform around the Metro Detroit Area and have featured such guest artists as Regina Carter and Doc Holladay.

The evening also includes a special performance by the Detroit Symphony Civic Jazz Orchestra, which features Michigan's premiere young jazz musicians.
