Austin-based indie orchestra Mother Falcon reveal their new video "Kid" today on NPR here. Directed by the band's own Tamir Kalifa, the video is a compelling complement to the lead single from Mother Falcon's upcoming album, Good Luck Have Fun, out August 14 via Bit Candy. Diving deep into a visual articulation of the song's emotional core, the video's intensity transforms the energy of the track.

Good Luck Have Fun explores a complicated stew of regret, betrayal, yearning and nostalgia for childhood, set among some of the most ambitious music of Mother Falcon's burgeoning career. Doubling down on both the accessible and adventurous sides of Mother Falcon, the first half of the album soars with an emphasis on rhythm, concise arrangements and a wealth of hooks. The second half of the album is comprised of experimental instrumental soundscapes composed as the score to an upcoming documentary about competitive gaming.

In preparation for the album release, Mother Falcon has announced a special NYC show with additional dates to follow!
