ABOUT MO PITNEY:

Mo Pitney's musical roots were born out of Cherry Valley, IL where music rang throughout the family home. Inspired by artists including Johnny Cash, Keith Whitley, Randy Travis, Buck Owens, James Taylor and bluegrass legend Ralph Stanley, Mo carries a deep reverence for the history of country music. Pitney, often referred to as an old soul, is a humble twenty-three-year-old storyteller of life through song. Often writing one to two songs a day, he is meticulous that the phrasing of every lyric "reflects who I am or how I'd speak." It's the same approach that this recording artist takes into the studio. Mo's musical style represents a blend of the long established roots of country with a more modern and mainstream delivery providing today's listener with a brand new sound. When not performing or writing music, Pitney spends his free time training his bird dogs, fishing, or hunting anything that's in season. Mo's debut single "Country" is climbing rapidly on country radio, and he continues to receive standing ovations consistently, including his epic crowd receptions at the Grand Ole Opry.
