According to a new interview, noted Broadway/Hollywood crossover star and Glee headliner Matthew Morrison will be presenting his new solo concert special on PBS stations across the country on June 1.

MATTHEW MORRISON: WHERE IT ALL BEGAN - LIVE FROM THE BUSHNELL is a gleek's dream come true given that the triple-threat talent will be performing songs from the stage and screen in the new special, taped last November at the Bushnell Center For The Performing Arts in Hartford, Connecticut.

Additionally, later in June, Morrison will release his new musical theatre-centric album - which contains tunes from THE WIZ (a duet with Smokey Robinson, no less), WEST SIDE STORY, MY FAIR LADY, OLIVER!, GUYS & DOLLS and others - also titled WHERE IT ALL BEGAN, out June 4.

The new album is reportedly a "dream project" for Morrison, particularly getting the opportunity to work with legendary producer Phil Ramone on it, who has since passed away.

Morrison relates, "When he said yes, it was a game changer."

"Just listening to him [talk about] working with Billy Joel and Barbra Streisand and just hearing these great stories; some were heartfelt and some were vulgar, stuff I can never repeat, but that was a great part of the journey," Morrison said.

Also, Morrison confirmed he plans to stay with GLEE for the forseeable future, especially now that it has just been renewed for two more seasons by FOX.

"As an actor it's rare to find a steady gig, so I'll definitely stay on for a while," he says.

The track list for WHERE IT ALL BEGAN is as follows:

Singin' In the Rain
Come Rain or Come Shine/Basin Street Blues
Ease on Down the Road
Younger Than Springtime
It Don't Mean a Thing
The Lady Is a Tramp
As Long as She Needs Me
On the Street Where You Live
Hey There
Luck Be a Lady
Send in the Clowns
West Side Story Medley

Morrison performed a WEST SIDE STORY medley on the 2013 Olivier Awards on Sunday. Check out the story here.
