MUSE Announces Additional Arena Dates for 2nd Law World Tour

Grammy Award winning British rock band Muse today announced additional arena dates as part of The 2nd Law world tour. The trio is touring in support of their sixth album The 2nd Law, which was released by Warner Bros. Records in October of 2012. Tickets for all newly announced dates will be on-sale beginning this Friday, April 12th at 10:00 AM. Cage The Elephant will open all new shows (see below for a complete list of dates).

Muse.mu members will have the first opportunity to purchase tickets to these dates during a pre-sale which will being on Thursday, April 11th at 10:00 AM and end the same day at 10:00 PM. Muse is Matt Bellamy, Dominic Howard and Chris Wolstenholme. Since forming in 1994, they have released five studio albums selling upwards of 15 million albums worldwide. The group's last albumThe Resistance reached No. 1 in 19 countries around the world, and they have won numerous awards around the world including a Best Rock Album Grammy Award and an American Music Award for The Resistance. In July 2012 Muse's song "Survival" was adopted as the official song of the 2012 Olympic Games in London. Muse is currently on the road for its 2013 North American tour in support of the Grammy nominated The 2nd Law. The album's first single "Madness" broke the record for the most weeks at No. 1 on Billboard's Alternative Chart.
