MTV Best New Artist Nominee Lukas Graham to Perform 'Mama Said' at VMA Pre-Show

MTV announced today that Lukas Graham will perform at the 2016 "MTV VMA Pre-Show," LIVE FROM THE RED CARPET at Madison Square Garden, Sunday August 28 at 8:00pm ET/PT. The MTV VMA "Best New Artist" nominee will perform their new hit single "Mama Said" at the hour-long pre-show, which is hosted by DJ Khaled and will also feature performances by Alessia Cara and Jidenna. The pre-show performances are presented by Pepsi as part of The Sound Drop, the company's new music platform that identifies the next generation of breaking artists, in partnership with iHeart Radio, Shazam and Viacom. The Sound Drop officially launches at the MTV VIDEO MUSIC AWARDS with Lukas Graham, Alessia Cara and Jidenna as the first artists to become part of the platform.
