MOTOWN's N'Kenge and More Set for DISCO DAYS AND BOOGIE NIGHTS with the Naples Philharmonic thru 1/11

Disco Days and Boogie Nights will feature Jack Everly, Principal Pops Conductor, Chapter 6, Farah Alvin, N'Kenge, Anne Beck and guests.

Whether you were a rocker, dancing queen or recovering hippie, the Naples Philharmonic is here to play time machine, taking you straight back to the 1970s. This trip down memory lane will take you through disco anthems like I Will Survive, monster rock hits like Bohemian Rhapsody and ballads like Isn't She Lovely. Break out your platforms and feather your hair, it's time to revisit one of America's funkiest decades with the Phil.

Direct from Broadway, the New York Post called N'Kenge "electrifying" in the role of Mary Wells in "Motown: The Musical". N'Kenge is currently performing to sold out performances at the Lunt Fontanne Theatre and she made her Broadway debut in "Sondheim on Sondheim", alongside Barbara Cook and Vanessa Williams. The production was directed by Pulitzer Prize winner James Lapine. In London, N'Kenge starred in "The Genius of Ray Charles", in which she made her West End debut.

A native New Yorker, she just returned from starring in the World Tour of the "Michael Jackson Tribute Show". N'Kenge graduated from both the prestigious Juilliard School and Manhattan School of Music. N'Kenge made her Carnegie Hall debut with the New York Pops Orchestra.

N'Kenge's debut EP TAKE ME OFF is available on iTunes worldwide and was produced by Kerry Gordy, son of Motown Legend Berry Gordy. N'Kenge has performed alongside jazz greats such as Wynton Marsalis and Ornette Coleman at Lincoln Center and has been a Principal Artist at New York City Opera. N'Kenge had the honor of performing for the Commander-in-Chief's Inaugural Ball hosted by President Obama.
