"It's such an honor to be nominated for Favorite Country Group," shares Britt. "We've been at this a long time and we've met a lot of fans and friends over the years and it's just really nice to be part of the People's Choice Awards this year. It's nice to know we have such committed fans and we thank them for our longevity." Sams adds, "We always knew our fans were the best. Our nomination for the People's Choice Award this year is something we are all very proud of. We've already won whether we get the award or not. A huge thanks to all our fans for making this happen." The band's awards include a 1999 ACM Single of The Year for "Amazed" (the song also won the Song of the Year award), and the 2001 CMA Vocal Group of the Year.
