Lola Brooke to Release First Project 'Dennis Daughter' in November

Back with another blockbuster hit, Lola Brooke pulls up with her new song “Pit Stop”  today alongside 3x Grammy-nominated, Diamond-certified recording artist French Montana via Team Eighty Productions/ Arista Records. 

The bass-knocking latest release from the Brooklyn-born emcee yields an unruly club-banging feel as Lola and French go back-to-back with boisterous bars and charismatic rawness. The official music video, which arrived earlier today with the accompanying new song, vividly highlights the dynamism of “Pit Stop,” as the community of New York puts on for all the boroughs with flair and ferocity.

Showing no signs of slowing down the race to another victory lap, Lola has unveiled eagerly awaited details for her first body of work, Dennis Daughter. The highly anticipated project by Lola is set for a release next month on November 10, 2023, and will feature Bryson Tiller, Coi Leray, French Montana, Latto, Nija, & Yung Miami.

Dennis Daughter is poised to cement a formal introduction of Lola's origin story to the world, speaking to a journey from the very first name moniker she earned, 'Dennis' Daughter,' to who she is today — Lola Brooke, the new face of New York to the world.

The forthcoming project from the 2023 breakout artist will include recently released songs “You” featuring Bryson Tiller, “Don’t Play With It (Remix)” featuring Latto & Yung Miami, "Pit Stop" featuring French Montana as well as nine unreleased songs guaranteed to quench the riveting thirst of new music from Lola to the masses. 

A few short weeks ago, Lola ignited 'Gator Season' with the release of "You" featuring Bryson Tiller. The sizzling single received highlights from Forbes, Interview Magazine, Earmilk, Lyrical Lemonade, Rated R&B, The Source, That Grape Juice, Hot New Hip Hop,  Rap Radar, and Revolt, as well as spotlights on an array of 'Best in New Music for the Week' music publication columns from Essence, UPROXX, BET, Vibe Magazine, Wonderland Magazine, XXL, Viper Magazine,  and more.

With "You," Brooke received acclaimed recognition for her ability to flip the Foxy Brown/ Blackstreet classic "Get Me Home" while maintaining a strong assertiveness of her artistry. It also marked her first ever A List position on BBC 1Xtra.

2023 stands as a momentous year for Lola as she gears up for the release of one of the most in-demand music projects within and outside of the landscape of  Hip Hop. The 2023 Amazon Music breakthrough  artist achieved her first Billboard Hot 100 charts acclaim and her first RIAA certified Gold recognition for her blockbuster hit single “Don’t Play With It” featuring Billy B and debuted her first television performance of the track this past June at the 2023 BET Awards.

Last week the Brooklyn M.V.P. participated in the world renowned  BET Hip Hop Awards cypher with her flip of Jay Z’s “Big Pimpin” as she trended on X (formally known as Twitter) as one of the most discussed artists of the night who displayed standout performances.

Elsewhere, she earned a spotlight as a 2023 XXL Freshman member for the coveted Hip Hop publication and is currently on the Fall/ Autumn issue of international fashion publication Wonderland Magazine, which is now on newsstands.
