Linkin Park, Evanescence to Be Featured on UNDERWORLD: AWAKENING Soundtrack

Digitalspy.com reports that Linkin Park and Evanescence will be among the musical artists featured on the soundtrack for the upcoming vampire film UNDERWORLD: AWAKENING. Joining them will be The Cure and Lacuna Coil.

UNDERWORLD: AWAKENING is coming to theaters in January from Screen Gems. The fantasy horror film is directed by Måns Mårlind and Björn Stein and stars Kate Beckinsale, Michael Ealy, India Eisley, Sandrine Holt, RoBert Lawrenceson, Charles Dance, Stephen Rea, Kris Holden-Ried, Richard Cetrone, Theo James, Jacob Blair, Ron Wear, Marvin Duerkholz, William Francis, Daniel Boileau, Panou, Adam Greydon Reid, Julia Rhodes, Jeff Sanca, Christian Tessier, Jesse Branden Dahl. The film is the third installment in the vampire franchise.

Kate Beckinsale, star of the first two films, returns in her lead role as the vampire warrioress Selene, who escapes imprisonment to find herself in a world where humans have discovered the existence of both Vampire and Lycan clans, and are conducting an all-out war to eradicate both immortal species.

The film will be released in theaters on January 20th, with the soundtrack released three days earlier.
