Some tickets remain to see iconic musician Cyndi Lauper in concert at The Ridgefield Playhouse on Saturday, November 16, at 8 p.m.

This singer/songwriter/actress' success runs the gamut from pop super star to Broadway Tony award-winner. She will perform her 1980s debut mega hit album She's So Unusual, which includes the hits "Girls Just Want to Have Fun", "Time After Time", "All Through the Night" and "True Colors", in its entirety. She's So Unusual made Lauper a household name and cemented her place in musical history as the first female artist to have four Top 10 singles on a debut album. The release went on to sell more than 16 million copies worldwide and earned Lauper a Grammy Award for "Best New Artist". Cyndi Lauper has continued every step of the way demonstrating that girls just want to have fun. She even entered Donald Trump's boardroom as a contender on "The Celebrity Apprentice" (fun?). She most recently won a Tony award for her musical score for the Broadway hit Kinky Boots.

Special guest is Hunter Valentine, an alternative all-girl rock band from Toronto, Canada. This event is partially underwritten by Nature's Temptations and is part of the Xfinity Rock Series with media sponsor Star 99.9fm.

For tickets ($92.50), call or visit the box office at The Ridgefield Playhouse at(203) 438-5795, 80 East Ridge, parallel to Main Street, Ridgefield, CT, or buy tickets online at ridgefieldplayhouse.org.
