Universal Republic recording artist Lauren Pritchard will launch a U.S. tour with Matt White and BrenDan James on March 17th in Little Rock, AR. The run, which will include a performance at Los Angeles' intimate Hotel Café on April 1st, will conclude in Pittsburgh on April 17th. Pritchard, who's in the midst of a U.K. tour, will play her first headlining show in London tomorrow - a sold-out concert at The Borderline that's part of the HMV Next Big Thing series.

Wasted in Jackson, which she recorded with producer/Ivor Novello-winning songwriter Eg White (Duffy, Adele) in London, will be released on February 22nd. "On one of the year's best debut albums, this soulful singer-songwriter brings to mind what Adele or Joss might have sounded like if they grew up in Jackson, Tenn," said People in a three-and-a-half star review. "The album is all new-Dusty drama: big voice, big strings, big heartache...it mixes Southern orneriness with Brit-style quirks...on the Marcus Mumford produced art-folk "When Night Kills The Day,' Pritchard moans with the dark, outsize passion of Kate Bush," observed Rolling Stone. Both Q Magazine and MOJO awarded Wasted in Jackson four stars and London's Sunday Times praised Pritchard's "beautiful, soaring voice and a set of songs that roll and swell with Carole King and Norah Jones-like country-soul catchiness."

Sherecently performed the album's lead single, "Not The Drinking," on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" and "Conan." Pritchard's upcoming video, "Stuck," features English actor Michael Socha (Shank, Public Sex). "Painkillers," another track from Wasted in Jackson, was Q Magazine's "Track of the Day." It features The Roots' ?uestLove on drums and brought Roni Size out of a five-year hiatus to do a remix of the track.

Pritchard, who originated the role of "Ilse" in the Tony-winning musical Spring Awakening, now resides in the U.K., where she has played the Glastonbury, Latitude and iTunes festivals, opening for Florence and The Machine at the latter.
