Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett officially have a #1 hit album!

International music superstar Tony Bennett teamed up with chart-topping pop icon Lady Gaga for a new duets album containing multiple American Songbook standards and the album currently sits atop the iTunes charts as the #1 album worldwide.

CHEEK TO CHEEK was released on September 23.

Gaga utilized Twitter to share the news earlier today, writing, "'CHEEK TO CHEEK' is #1 on the WORLDWIDE iTunes album chart! BUY HERE: http://smarturl.it/CheekToCheek".

Of note, Bennett and Gaga previously collaborated on a duet of the classic "The Lady Is A Tramp" for Bennett's bestselling DUETS II album. New footage of that recording session was recently released and it was covered in a BroadwayWorld article here.
