In 2012, Lewis Watson self-released his debut EP It's Got Four Sad Songs On It BTW after establishing a devoted online fan-base. It topped the iTunes singer-songwriter chart on the first day of release, outselling the likes of Adele, Madonna and Ed Sheeran in the process, and landed the then nineteen-year-old singer-songwriter a deal with Warner Bros. Records.

Lewis' profile has grown exponentially ever since. In addition to critical acclaim, all five of his EPs to date have hit the Top 10 at iTunes, each building upon the sales of the previous release. Meanwhile, his online following is phenomenal: 5 million YouTube plays; 100,000likes at Facebook; 5 million streams at Spotify; and 70,000 Twitter followers.

Lewis Watson is now set to release his long-awaited debut album The Morning in the US onJune 17th. Demonstrating Lewis' powers as a songwriter, The Morning combines fully-realised reworkings of select songs from his early EPs with plethora of new material - including instant grat track "Halo," "Stay" and much more. These new songs take Lewis' stripped-back, guitar-and-voice roots to a new level of richer, more textured soundscapes.

The Morning will be available for iTunes pre-order beginning April 15. Fans who purchase the record will receive an instant grat download of new album track "Halo," which is available as a stream beginning today. Check out "Halo" streaming HERE and please feel free to post + share!

"I'm not a fan of just repackaging old material. The original EPs were meant to be works in progress. And these versions are much more polished," he explains. "I wanted people to be able to see the journey of me as an artist and the evolution of the songs. It's unorthodox, but I feel very lucky that I've had that opportunity."

The Morning will be available in standard digital and CD, in addition a special D2C bookedition with a bonus 52-page diary which tells the story of the making of the album. A comprehensive 37-track version will also be available which collates the album together with is 5 previous EPs + a compilation of previously unreleased songs and demo recordings.
