It's time for apples, pumpkins, and all of nature's autumn bounty! In celebration of the season, best-selling, award winning children's musician Laurie Berkner will host the first in a series of hour-long special programs, Laurie Berkner's Garden: Eat, Play, Grow, to be broadcast multiple times throughout the weekend of September 26 - 28 on SiriusXM's Kids Place Live. Laurie Berkner will join with SiriusXM's Kids Place Live program director Mindy Thomas to help kids understand that food doesn't have to come from the store. With "Apples & Pumpkins" as a theme, the autumn episode of Laurie Berkner's Garden: Eat, Play, Grow will be filled with a cornucopia of food and gardening songs, activities, and more. There'll be humorous "kid on the street" Q & A moments, Mindy will interview a grower from a local farmers market, and special guest Catherine McCord of Weelicious will share tips about healthy snacks in a food preparation segment.

These
September broadcasts are the first in a series of exclusive Laurie Berkner's Garden: Eat, Play, Grow specials, set to air four times a year, in alignment with the change of seasons.
Dubbed "one of the hippest children's artists" by FamilyFun Magazine, Laurie Berkner's original songs, albums, DVDs, music videos, and books leave no doubt: Laurie is the uncrowned queen of children's music and the power behind the progressive "kindie rock" movement.
