Harry Wayne Casey - KC for short - created a fusion of R&B, funk and Latin percussion that memorably became a defining sound of the disco era. KC & the Sunshine Band went on to deliver such hits as "Get Down Tonight," "That's The Way (I Like It)" and "Shake Your Booty." The band's sales topped 100 million records, and they earned nine Grammy nominations with three wins. They continue to tour internationally as well across the U.S., performing approximately 100 live shows annually.
