Josh Thompson to Give Free Concert to Benefit National Environment Education

Country music star Josh Thompson will join NRA Country for an exclusive, free online concert on August 26 to benefit the National Environmental Education Foundation--http://neefusa.org. All artist proceeds from the StageIt tip jar will be donated to the charity, "the nation's leading organization in lifelong environmental learning."

Thompson will perform some of his biggest hits, including his new single "Cold Beer With Your Name On It," and take part in a live Q&A session. Singer/songwriter Josh Thompson stormed onto the country music scene with his debut album WAY OUT HERE - debuting in the Top 10 on Billboard's Top Country Albums Chart and earning praise from countless critics, including NPR's Fresh Air, Billboard and People. Thompson wrote or co-wrote all 10 tracks on the album including hits, "Won't Be Lonely Long," "Way Out Here" and "Beer On The Table." Thompson is also a respected songwriter with several outside cuts by the likes of Jason Aldean and Brad Paisley. The blue-collar road warrior plays hundreds of shows each year ranging from headlining club dates to sold-out arenas with Hank Williams, Jr., Dierks Bentley, Luke Bryan, Eric Church and more. Thompson recently released "Cold Beer With Your Name On It" as the lead single from his second studio album, and first on Show Dog Records, due out later this year.
