Jimmy Buffett fans are again invited to soak-in the full Margaritaville experience with the return of the FREE downtown beach party for all to enjoy. Starting at noon, the day-long festivities will be at Comerica Park and feature a LandShark Lounge, a variety of island-inspired interactive games, tiki bars with frozen concoctions, live entertainment and much, much more.

"We are thrilled to welcome back Jimmy Buffett with this year's special guest John Fogerty," said Tom Wilson, president and chief executive officer of Olympia Entertainment. "We can't wait to transform downtown into yet another day-long paradise celebration."

Buffett's iconic performances are notably regarded as not just a concert, but a state of mind that allows Parrotheads to experience the sights, sounds and taste of their favorite island destination without leaving town.

Jimmy recently released a new record, Songs from St. Somewhere, on Mailboat Records. The album, with 15 new songs plus a bonus track, was recorded last spring in various locales including Key West, Nashville, Miami, St. Barts and London. "Too Drunk To Karaoke", the first single, is a duet with Toby Keith and the video was shot in Nashville. Jimmy has been performing this song, as well as "I Want To Go Back To Cartagena," "Somethin' 'Bout A Boat" and "Oldest Surfer On The Beach" on tour.
